AWAY CASH

Terms & Conditions

Last updated — September 20, 2026

01

What AWAY CASH Is

AWAY CASH is a promotional wallet balance, an in-app currency. It carries no interest and cannot be withdrawn as money.

02

Value

1 AWAY CASH equals ₹1 Indian Rupee (INR), redeemable against AWAY flight and hotel bookings.

03

How It Is Earned

AWAY CASH can be earned through onboarding rewards, tasks, referrals, and booking cashback. AWAY may change these channels at any time.

04

Expiry

Every credit expires 365 days from the date it is issued, regardless of source. Unused credit is forfeited automatically.

05

Order of Redemption

Where multiple credits exist, the oldest is redeemed first.

06

Applying It to a Booking

Customers may utilize AWAY CASH to cover all or part of their booking amount. Redemptions are limited to a maximum of 1000 AWAY CASH per booking.

07

Cancellations and Refunds

If a booking paid with AWAY CASH is cancelled or refunded per its own fare terms, the AWAY CASH portion is credited back, generally with a fresh expiry.

08

Transfers and Outside Use

AWAY CASH cannot be transferred, gifted, sold, or used outside the AWAY app unless a specific partner channel is explicitly enabled under its own terms.

09

Fair Usage, Fraud, and Abuse

AWAY CASH is subject to a Fair Usage Policy. AWAY may withhold or reclaim AWAY CASH obtained through fraud or abuse, and may suspend the account involved. Where AWAY CASH is misused, abused, or redeemed in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose, including redemption by travel agents or other unauthorised third parties, AWAY may cancel the associated booking or bookings, forfeit the AWAY CASH without refund, and suspend or restrict the account and its access to future AWAY CASH benefits.

10

Account Closure

Any remaining balance is forfeited if an account is closed, except where law requires otherwise.
